Title: Galazy Cookies with Icing

COOKIES
1/2	c	Butter
3/4	c	Powdered sugar
1	tb	Vanilla extract
1 1/2	c	Flour
1/8	ts	Salt
1/4	c	Dates
1/4	c	Chopped walnuts
1/4	c	Semisweet chocolate pieces
ICING
1	c	Powdered sugar
1 1/2	c	Milk
1	ts	Vanilla extract

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in flour and salt until dough holds together. Mold dough around date, nut pieces, or chocolate pieces. Place cookies about 1" apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350øF for 12 to 15 minutes. Do not brown. Cool and use Galaxy Icing to complete.

Galaxy Icing: Mix ingredients until smooth and use to top Galaxy Cookies. Food coloring may be used, if desired.
